I was a student Group Leader of the Compulsory School Orientation Programme (CSOP) in the ICT faculty of Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I was in charge of the taking care of the freshman during the orientation program and ensured that programs were running smoothly while making sure they had an enjoyable experience throughout the 3 days programme.

This experience has allowed me to be more adaptable to changes as things do not always go as planned. One of the examples was having a delay in the registration for the freshman, instead of panicking and feeling lost in the situation, I came out with ideas on the spot to keep the rest of the freshman occupied while the registration team was handling the delay.

These pictures were captured during our dance practices for the CSOP. Many of us put in our utmost effort to make the final performance a memorable one. We spent a great deal of time trying to perfect our dance moves and making our props for the camp. However, we did not forget to have fun throughout preparation! 🎉😜✌

All in all, I really enjoyed the entire journey, it was a really fruitful learning experience for me and I'm sure my fellow peers and freshman would have enjoyed it as much as I did.

I hope I was able to inspire my freshman to be greater than I was and continue to improve themselves to be a better person and to inspire their fellow peers.
